1. All-American Chili
No list of chili would be complete with your “typical” red bean chili. It’s the most common and has your garden variety beef, beans and awesome spices. This recipe is one of my personal favorites because it has yellow sweet peppers! I personally only add 1 can of kidney beans, and add 1 can of black beans and 1 can of corn. It yields tons of leftovers andis made in the crock pot. A win-win!
You can get this tasty recipe over atFamilyCircle.comalong with tons of other great recipes for your entire family.
2. White ChickenChili
Not everyone loves ground beef and kidney beans in their chili. If this sounds like you, you should try your hand at White Chicken Chili. You will get the fullness of a great chili recipe with some fresh ingredients like tons of chicken and some cannellini beans mixed with some great herbs. Check out our very own recipe at Life As Mama right here!
3. Vegetarian Chili
The great thing about chili is you can make it filling and tasty even without meat. Using lots of beans and tomatoes will give your dish flavor and can be healthy too! Don’t shy away from vegetarian chili, you won’t even miss the meat! This recipe is actually by one of my favorite authors, Jane Green. In her novel, “Promises to Keep” Green supplies her readers with the entire list of recipes that her characters cook in the book. This recipes is one of the best chili recipe’s I’ve ever had! You can find it right here.
4. Turkey & Black Bean Chili
This recipe is amazing because it has CHOCOLATE in it! You will use unsweetened cocoa powder and an ounce of semisweet chocolate in your mixture, which gives it a totally unique flavor. I’ve personally made this chili and it’s delicious, though a departure from your typical taste. Maybe try it on some adults? You can find the recipe at Fitness Magazine right here.

5. Chili Without Beans
Even though chili is mostly known for its hearty selection of beans, not everyone enjoys them. You don’t have to miss out on the chili bandwagon, just make some sans beans! You will have plenty of sausage, ground beef, tomatoes and bell peppers to satisfy your chili craving. You won’t miss those beans one bit.
